The Vivo X300 Pro comes with a beautiful and slightly large design. I’m one of the person using the Elite Black color, which is looks quite elegant. Another color version which is available in india ,Dune Gold, while the color options are slightly different in the global market. It has a very premium in-hand feel, and the matte finish is very smooth, which doesn’t attract fingerprints.
The camera bump protrudes slightly from the body, but the phone sits perfectly flat on a table and doesn’t wobble. Vivo has added a new features which is three LED lights to the corners of the phone, which help in taking better photos in low light environment .
This phone is features with an aluminium alloy frame, matte-finish glass, and Armor Glass on the front for the better protection against damage. It’s a bit heavy, weighing 226 grams, and its dimensions are 161.2 x 75.5 x 8 mm.
The IP68/IP69 rating is also a one of the major plus point, making it dust-tight and water-resistant. It can handle high-pressure water jets and can even remain submerged in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes.
In terms of ports and buttons, the Vivo X300 Pro has customizable action buttons on the left side. I use them to open the flashlight. On the right side are the volume and power buttons. There’s a secondary speaker on the top, and the microphone, Type-C port, and SIM tray are located at the bottom.
Vivo X300 Pro Camera
The Vivo X300 Pro’s camera is quite strong, with Zeiss-powered features. It features a 50MP wide, 200MP periscope telephoto, and 50MP ultrawide sensor.
Its primary camera comes with a Sony LYT-828 sensor, which includes OIS and a bright f/1.57 aperture. It captures rich details and good highlight retention with natural skin tones.

This camera delivers cleaner output without overexposed highlights, which is a common problem in many competitors. Even when I was taking photos in bright light, the camera captured even the smallest details, like a single strand of hair. More over the edge object detection is very accurate, which is something rarely seen in any other phone. Detail clarity and edge separation are one of the Vevo’s biggest strengths here. In photos taken at Majnu Ka Tila, the cafe lights were a bit dim, but the primary camera captured skin tones quite well. However, sometimes Vivo’s extra HDR processing makes the skin look a bit overprocessed, which might seem slightly different compared to Pixel and iPhone. For example, all three images were taken in the same cafe, but some faces looked slightly overprocessed compared to the actual tones. However, the middle image, which had a natural look, proves that the camera can deliver excellent results even without heavy processing. The behaviour of HDR depends on the lighting and the subject.
In open lighting, the scene completely transforms. Here, this camera seems unbeatable, with accurate colours, rich depth, and balanced tones. My photo taken on the Yamuna bridge showed a slight skin tone shift, but this is part of Vevo’s color science, which I’ve observed in many Vivo phones before.
During my review of the Vivo X300 Pro, I clicked many photos in portrait mode, and it became my favourite. It offers perfect edge detection, strong background blur, and natural bokeh, all thanks to Zeiss tuning. Sometimes, I even preferred taking normal wide shots in Portrait mode.

This phone also offers multiple camera modes such as Food, Night, Landscape, Stage, Snapshot, Portrait, Pro, Street Photography, and more.
The ultrawide camera is also quite interesting. when I was reviewing, the weather was mostly foggy, so I took a lot of cinematic wide angle shots. In good lighting, wide-angle photos come out with sharp, but in low light, some of the detail and dynamic range are lost, and it doesn’t deliver the same level of output as the main or telephoto camera.
Low-light photography feature is still one of its major strengths, as it can handles night shots well, keeping noise under control, and preserves texture without overly aggressive processing. The main camera excels in night photography. The telephoto lens is also quite impressive. After using it, I felt that the Vivo X300 Pro performed even better than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in zoom performance. Even at 100x zoom, the image of the Sugato flyer looks quite clear, which shows how usable the long-range zoom is.
Regarding the front camera, I took a lot of selfies during the Vivo X300 Pro review. Its performance was quite good in both normal and portrait modes, and also in group selfies. This phone retains depth, skin tone, and contrast very well. In terms of video quality, the rear camera can record at 8K 30fps and 4K 120fps, and the front camera offers 4K 30fps. The high frame rate 4K provides a lot of flexibility for slow-motion and cinematic shots.
Vivo X300 Pro Review Battery and Charging Features
The Vivo X300 Pro is comes with a Si/C Li-Ion 6510 mAh battery in India and global markets, while the EU market comes with 5440 mAh battery due to EU regulations. I used this phone in two ways. First, with normal use, such as scrolling through reels, watching downloaded movies, and some photography, I got 11 to 12 hours of screen time.
Secondly, when I only played BGMI and did photography, the screen time was around 8 hours, which is still decent. It can offers a standby battery life of more than 24 hours on a single charge.
I put the phone on charge at 10:54 PM when it was at 0%. Initially, it charged a bit slowly, reaching 6% in about 6 minutes, and then 15% in the next 5 minutes. After that, the charging became quite fast. It reached 30% at 11:10, 50% at 11:24, 70% at 11:37, 94% at 11:54, and 100% at 11:57.
So, the Vivo X300 Pro took 1 hour and 3 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%. One thing worth noting is that the charging was a bit slow initially, but then the flash charging worked very quickly. It went from 15% to 50% in just 19 minutes, and then from 50% to 100% in the next 23 minutes.
Vivo X300 Pro AMOLED display
The Vivo X300 Pro is features with a large 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1 billion color support. This is amazing for watching movies, as the screen size is quite large. Vivo has also included HDR10+, allowing you to enjoy high-quality videos on platforms like YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.
With HDR Vivid and Dolby Vision, the display delivers richer contrast, brighter highlights, and more accurate colors. Its deep blacks are also quite solid. When I was reviewing the Vivo X300 Pro,I watched dark-themed shows like Delhi Crime, and the experience was quite amazing.
The phone has a peak brightness of 4500 nits. I’m currently in Delhi, and due to pollution and fog, I haven’t had much sunlight for the past month, so I couldn’t properly test the peak brightness, as it’s best tested in harsh sunlight. It also features with a 120Hz refresh rate, which provides fast and smooth scrolling, and this can be adjusted in the phone settings.
Vivo also known for taken care of users’ eye comfort, and providing a dedicated Eye Comfort and Protection features options like Eye Protection adjustment, monitoring, and intelligent blue-light filtering, which help reduce eye fatigue and prevent image distortion when use for long time.
You can schedule or enable features like sleep comfort mode, anti-fatigue brightness, adaptive color, and full PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), which reduce flicker and make the display more eye-friendly and smooth.
Vivo X300 Pro phone Performance
The Vivo X300 Pro with powered MediaTek Dimensity 9500 (3 nm) chipset, which can delivers outstanding performance. It’s a great choice for multimedia usage and is expected to perform strongly for years to come. I played several BGMI games on it, but never experienced any frame drops or felt any heat on the back. I used the phone quite heavily, yet I didn’t experience any heating issues. Previously, when I used the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, the phone would get hot after just an hour of use and camera activity.
The Vivo Efficient Cooling System helps the device run smoothly, whether you’re gaming or taking photos. It uses a new heat pipes technology and a special liquid that enable cools down the heat quickly. This is why the Vivo X300 Pro stays cool and delivers maximum performance.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 is one of the powerful chip. It features a strong CPU with all high-performance cores (Cortex-X930/C1) and is built on to support advanced TSMC 3nm technology. It also includes a new graphics unit, the Arm G1-Ultra GPU, and a very capable AI processor, the NPU 990, which can handle 100 trillion operations per second.
This means the chip can run single-core tasks up to 32% faster and graphics tasks up to 42% faster, while using less power. moreover, it can supports next-generation features like 4K video at 120 frames per second, faster UFS 4.1 storage, and Wi-Fi version 7. All these improvements make the Vivo X300 Pro a top-performing phone.
I did a several benchmark tests on the Vivo X300 Pro just to check its performance in different aspects. Its Geekbench score is 3411 in single-core and 10021 in multi-core. The CPU throttling test showed a maximum of 66 percent. Its Antutu score is 3,483,365. In the 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test, the overall stability score was 71.7%.
Vivo X300 Pro Software and UI
The Vivo X300 Pro runs on Android 16 and receives support for 5 major Android updates. A few months ago, Vivo shifted from Funtouch OS 16 to OriginOS 6 across all its devices. Earlier, this OS was exclusive available only in China.
Origin operating system (OS) is cleaner and offers an innovative UI, including an iOS-like Dynamic Island-type feature. You can also customize app widgets, wallpaper, system style, and the home screen.
I’m using the main app list with A to Z sorting, but there’s also an option to sort by usage frequency. Scrolling is smooth, and the app opening and closing animations feel quite fluid.
This phone also features multiple AI capabilities, but the main focus is on its powerful ZEISS camera system. It utilizes the V3+ chip to enable features like 4K portrait videos, AI telephoto tracking for distant subjects, and generative AI effects such as changing seasons or weather in Night and Landscape modes.
It also integrates Google’s Gemini for productivity, offers Circle to Search, and includes AI-powered photo editing tools like AI Eraser, all available in OriginOS 6.
This Vivo X300 Pro review clearly shows that Vivo has created one of the most complete flagship smartphones of the year. Its ZEISS-powered camera system delivers exceptional detail, class-leading portraits, and powerful zoom performance, while the Dimensity 9500 chipset ensures smooth gaming, photography, and daily use without overheating.
Yes, sometimes HDR overprocesses skin tones slightly, and the ultrawide camera lags a bit in low light, but these are minor compromises for an otherwise powerful camera-centric phone.
